our story
We first met the fall of 1999 on campus at the University of British Columbia. We had a mutual friend in common, but were never formally introduced. Come to think of it, we interacted minimally until the end of next term, when we suddenly took notice of one another. A couple weeks into June 2000, we had our first date.
Six and a half years into our relationship, on December 1st, 2006, we were engaged on the pier of Granville Island. It was night, it was cold, there was snow, and a boat blared its horn everytime Jeff opened his mouth to speak. After about four attempts, the boat was finally silent and Jeff finally popped the question.
